Wasn't it suggested that the Heavy Metal Holocaust concert wrecked the pitch?  I seem to recall that during the Rudge era, but it could have been a bit later, we had some major drainage work carried out but it was only ever going to be remedial work due to cost.

That Regis incident was tremendous.To see the lardies screaming a goal and then the poor sods went quiet ,when the ball got stuck in the mud.Top class 😂😂😂😂😂
