Does this assume that all the teams below us take maximum points from their games in hand?  If so, I would argue that for all of them to turn it around is highly unlikely to happen... maybe from one/two teams below us,  but all of them...?

You're right Seamus - it's impossible! Just the 3 bottom teams all play 3 or 4 games against other teams below us, as well as teams in contention for promotion. Not being complacent - we do need to pick up points, for pride if nothing else...but, averaging just a point per game, for the ones we have left would give us the 50 pts we usually say is safety. So, if we do as badly (or well?) as win 1 / lose 2 out of 3, we'll be ok. Not great - but ok, and safe!

10 of the 12 games are off with a couple potentially on Sunday.

So let's hope Southend don't win and Bolton v Stevenage Is a draw or home win

See that Colchesher have moved their game back 24 hours when temperatures are forecast to be 5 or 6 degrees, Oxford have also done this in leage 1.  I know a lot of teams have got games Tuesday night but surprised more teams not followed suit, they could have moved them to the Wednesday.

Games can be moved easily without having to arrange for police attendence.

Yeah I thought more might have moved them back 24 hours, we have about 11 weeks of the season left and Carlisle still have 23 games to play, much more bad weather or any COVID outbreaks, they going be playing 4 games a week.

14 teams have already got games arranged for Tuesday so it might be difficult to find a couple due to play each other tomorrow neither of which are already booked for Tuesday??

See that Wigan had their game moved back 24 hours to Sunday so they have moved their Tuesday night game to the Wednesday, think for these teams with so many games to play, it might have been sensible to push back 24 hours.

It’s in our own hands as you say. Need to get no more than 10 less points than Grimsby and 8 of Southend or Barrow and jobs done so we’ve got the easier task.

Would think 45 would be enough possibly less.

If 2nd bottom carries on their trajectory then 41 would be enough.

Who’d have thought at the beginning of the season that were know In a position where we’re counting points, games played and looking over our shoulders at teams below us in order to beat the drop. Guessing it was only those muppets who thought port vale had a good squad of players 😂

Good job we’ve got rid of Askey who put this dreadful team together.

He didn't actually.  There are almost no Askey signings in the current first team. But hey, let us not not let facts interfere with myth.

That’s not true is it. The idea is to improve your team and squad in windows and we always go backwards. The reason there aren’t many in the side at the moment is that they are all dreadful footballers. There have been many occasions this season where his signings all featured an unsurprisingly we lost.
