Not sure where to post this, here will do I guess. I have anumber of questions and frustrations, all I can say is that too many people within PVFC have been and are still getting a free ride whilst there are none of us in the ground to vent our frustrations.

Here are a few of mine:-

How can a team that looked 'decent', perhaps a centre mid and x2 strikers short last season head towards 20/ 21st position in this poor league some 9/10 months later?

Why do we persevere with players who obviously have major issues with fitness and maintaining fitness?

Cullen, Oyeleke, Montano, etc. They may be decent but are no good to us sat in the stands for half a season or more.

What has happened to Leon Legge?

Why have we not appointed a new manager some 7 games on?

Why do we look like so poor defensively when our coaching staff in the main were either defenders or defensive minded?

Why do we sign strikers who never look like they will score goals and make excuses for them?

We lack discipline, we lack leadership, we lack goals and can't stop conceding them, not rocket science and needs addressing.

We have 4K Season Ticket holders, who as each week goes by are turning into 2K or less, the impact on walk-up and flexi 10 ticket purchases will follow suit.

I appreciate these are difficult times, the same times that apply to the other 71 EFL clubs.

We are going backwards, all the positivity of the new ownership is fast disappearing, something I both hate and never thought I'd be saying.

To do nothing or compromise with Vale or any club only leads one way - down, the only question is when and how long it will take.

To say I'm dissapointed is a massive understatement and contradicts my thoughts of last year.

A real poor and sorry affair again at Vale. As the saying goes: "You can only kick a dog so many times, eventually it will stop coming back to you"

Simply because those that run the club haven’t got a f@!king clue, period !!!!!!

Was Vaughan's touch that good?

I thought he put the ball exactly where you would expect him to put it and crookes went charging in like a steam train without thinking, leaving him with a free shot on goal.

I’m as rose tinted as you but I thought it was a great touch to chop it back the other way and sell Crookes down the river with his movement. Good strikers goal that IMO.

That was my original point ... we ll never do any good with our sick list and maybe I was wrong to drag gibbo into it he s a player I really like but he does miss games through injury... including today !
We can carry an injury prone player, I remember Foyley explaining to me he knew Lee Mathews was injury prone but he was worth a risk at very little cost to the Vale... we can all remember Michael Walsh I m sure... but we ve never had such a list of players we can’t get out on the pitch Manny, Monty, Amoo, Cullen and then compound that with Legge suspensions, Conlons injury, Gibbo s injury, and it’s no wonder we ve struggled.  I can only remember one player missing semi regularly under Adams ( Vincent) ... have to get shut of any players we can’t get out in the pitch I m afraid we have too many of them.

While I m on a rant we re also too lightweight as I said at the start of the season... then take Pope and Legge out and we re bantam weight.

so frustrating because it wouldn’t take much to turn this team around.

thank goodness for the cricket in the morning even the rugby let me down 😂

Saw Mike Baggaleys post match video on Facebook and he said Pugh gave an update about Gibbo and said he was missing through illness and not injury.

Absolutely. If that was ours we would be going mental.

Craig Davies was the last player for us who did that.

When I look at the league tables and I see the likes of Luton, Wycombe, Wimbledon, Accrington, Rochdale, etc... way above us in the league pyramid, it frustrates the hell out of me. We need to pay for a decent manager to sort our football team out. Get some players with a set of gonads!

😡😡😡😡

I do hope that is not correct rider or we are as you say f**ked!

Spending and obscenely over inflated price of 5 million (correct me if I’m wrong) to buy the Vale off Del Boy fat lad, with absolutely no experience of how to run and football club on or off the pitch. Totally inept at being able to appoint a new manager, instead hoping that Pugh would save the day. (Errr that’s working out well !!!! ) Your dammed right we’re well and truly f@@ked !!!!!

I think the worry is Tranmere didn’t batter us in general play, they rarely had for example sustained heavy pressure and we did have some good possession too... but we could of been hit for 5 or 6 in a game of relatively few chances because of back line was that bad whenever a cross came in it led to a great chance.

I mean the chance Vaughan had a minute after half time was absolutely disgraceful defending! Two Tranmere lads with a free hit from a cross from a relatively poor crossing position from 6 yards.

We missed Legge today. Big time. Aerially we won nothing. Surely he was a more sensible option to Crookes?

Now annoyingly replaying the commentary on our 3-4 defeat at Vale Park.
Dire stuff.

Condescending pair of prats

Been wondering what those two goons really looked like and you'd never have guessed....

I like Hurst - hard working and can cross with both feet, I think he’s well worth persevering with

Decent squad player and worth persevering but still waiting for him to get a shot on goal and also score a goal. Yes he has crossed a few and with both feet but last few games hes been involved he seems to have created less chances.

Out of our whole defence, only James Gibbons should be retained next season. For some reason there seems to be this notion that Smith will be fine alongside a good, quick defender. But he's crap and shouldn't have someone else bail him out. Not good enough simply, and he would get far more stick if he wasn't a local boy and someone that came up through the ranks.

Even Scott Brown is turning into a bit of a worry. Great shot stopper but his overall game has been lacking for a while now. How long does he not get criticised based on performances last season?

Defenders are just pushing him on his left foot and he has to cut back on his right. He is not a winger he just runs up and down a lot. He's not good enough yet and I don't think he will be worth taking up a squad place next season.

Total rubbish. Numerous times he went down the line on his left and put a cross in.
