Taken Taylor off didn't know he was on..

We have a lot more problems than Taylor but I really worry that we have signed him on a 3 and half year contract, still don't know what his best position is, not sure he can play in midfield 4 and for me there is no way that a club in league 2 should be giving that length of contract out without a permanent manager.

I’m not convinced anyone at the club knows what they’re doing or what needs to be done. It’s very disappointing

I'm beginning to think that there are a lot of niceties and people 'talking the talk' at Vale.

Bottom line is we are sh*t. We are the worst team in this league and have been since November.

We sack a manager and leave inexperienced ex players in charge. We have no viable striker apart from Rodney (Pope is still the best imo, he may not be back?)

I'm expecting to see a managerial appointment in the next week, failure to do so will give a clear indication of the direction in which the 'good ship Port Vale' is heading.

Awful situation, 100x worse with Covid. Feel sorry for the Shanahans but that won't save us.

Act now!!!

Joyce has been on the pitch less than ten mins and has already lost possession with a misplaced pass several times.

we need a Joyce player like we did goober, at the moment we lack confidence in all areas, including the manager. We have some decent players but good managers bring the best out

When we signed Taylor everyone was over the moon. Not only hoping that he would make us safe this season but a player for the future. Forest must think he could be sold at a to fit otherwise they wouldn’t have put a clause in the deal. Carol did what the fans wanted and in these times that very admirable. There were other teams after him so we obviously had to give him the most lucrative deal, it was also the only time he’d be available. The football industry is totally dysfunctional, someone has one good season their value rockets then they go back to being ordinary. I agree that we do need a permanent experienced manager, but is cash the problem.?

I agree but he’s in atrocious form.

Not only him in atrocious form.  You can put the whole squad is crap and also the coaching staff in that as well.

Oh well there is always saturday's match to wish for a turn round and possibly a point.

Rubbish. These are his tactics and game plans. We’ve been awful every game except Grimsby, who are dead certs for relegation.

Mate it’s not rubbish the manager needs to be there to be judged properly

We’re not very good I admit but we ain’t dead certs go down
