So I am reading this morning as I awaken that none of the players like Sinclair, as a long term follower and many matches attended supporter of Port Vale I find that quite disturbing as I thought they were under performing because they all fell out with Askey .

The players need to get their act together and stop whining. Certainly morale has fallen sharply

442 please
This 1 up front is absolutely useless, unless you have someone like Aguero in your ranks. Get 2 up there.
Unfortunately, with Joyce being guaranteed to be one of the centre 2 in that formation, we may as well keep the score down to 3.0 by not turning up

To read this on the morning of a must win game is very poor ,as i believe the person they all like Danny Pugh is still in isolation ,so please someone other than the person they allegedly do not like take the team talk before the game tonight not Sinclair.

Footballers are a different set of rules than ordinary working folk most folk I know do not like there manager or boss or interim coach but haven't got please our fanbase these players have.

The pressure is on they have to deliver for the fans themselves not Frank Sinclair or Danny Pugh let's hope our support are not the victims of deliberate losses to prove there point because for one they getting there point across by sending Vale into non league will not be forgotten .

So deliver playersand do for the supporters stop taking it out on us because we cannot be there give you hell which we would be doing .

This stuff regarding Sinclair is absolute madness. If the players underperform or don't try because they "do not like" Sinclair, then they all want to have a word with themselves.

We've all had managers at work that we don't like or don't get along with, but you crack on and do what you're there to do, or guess what... you get sacked.

It's ridiculous, if true ofcourse.

I’d like to see us go 352. Wanted us to go with it recently and now Monty and gibbo are back it could be useful. Gives us more control in midfield than 442 would and for me suits us. Had enough of Joyce, wouldn’t have him near the 11. Also feel mills and rcg would be better suited as well. Id be very tempted to give young Bailey a go up top with Guthrie, Cullen Dosent score away from home and if the lad is so highly rated, let’s give him a go.

brown.
gibbo. Smith. New cb. Brisley. Monty.
Taylor. Conlon. Worrall.
guthrie. Cullen.

no chance!

Eisa is going to wear a fully fit Mills or a half fit Gibbo like a glove.

3-1 Scunny.

He’s a major doubt for tonight along with their captain Clarke. Il feel more confident if Eisa doesn’t make it!

Obviously Van Veen is still out.

They’ve been as poor as us overall in recent months, 7 losses in their last 10 league games (we’ve lost 4 which surprises me! Seems more than that!)

It’s a game we should be looking to win, or certainly not lose, we beat them with Mills in September but I’d start Gibbons for 60 minutes get minutes in the tank.

Just hope we can get a result by hook of by crook, if we can things will feel much better. If we don’t then nerves really will start to set in.

Guest Vale at home

Just spoke to Grimsby mate who played them on Saturday. He admits Grimsby are poor  but said they  played well first 20 mins and were the better side. Then a crazy defensive cock up by Grimsby and it was game over. Sounds familiar . Its a cliche but the first goal looks crucial.

Two poor teams in bad form.

Would love Guthrie to get a goal and get off the mark. We really need to start believing we can get goals in games. Problem is that we have chopped and changed our frontline so much we don't know how we are going to score. I guess one of the things we should see in coming weeks (with pope out and robinson frozen out) is atleast a bit of consistency with whoever plays up top.
