Bristol Rovers id think for him.

We’d be a sideways move.

I’m with @valeparklife on this one, I don’t necessarily think we’re a sideways move. I think we are an attractive proposition with a tonne of potential, especially with decent openers and the proposed new set up.

They say he isn't going there

Cant believe some dont want him,did a cracking job at Bristol(ask their fans what they think of him) working under a DOF,playing attacking football.. not quite worked at walsall but surely him(still young at 43 and yet experienced as well) and Flitcroft are better than Askey and many others being linked

No thanks. Record isn’t exactly brilliant. Him and our defence would be a match made in heaven (or hell)

Asked Bristol fans and their response was they would be desperate for him to come back, got them back to back promotions and only left them when in 10th in league one because of empty promises by the board.... so if thats not decent then i dont know what is tbh

Darryl clarke is he even any good ,Walsall fans being wanting him gone for a while now I believe .

Just more hearsay that's all he be going to Northampton hopefully not us

Got Bristol back to back promotions and left them 10th in league one so i would say thats not to shabby

As for walsall sometimes it just doesn't work at another club but he worked under a DOF at Bristol so who knows

Fair enough maybe its him then so when his he being announced as Vale manager then and why leave a club who beat us twice ? .

Are Vale a bigger club than Walsall ?

In my opinion they are (potentially).

Let's see then
