He has links to Sinclair worryingly

There have been many stories around Sinclair. A couple I do believe as i've heard them from people connected with the club. Personally I was suprised he rocked up at Vale and also suprised even with positive thinking did we have the money for his salary during Covid.

Things have gone on but from many areas, many guises, does it matter, not really apart from we have been one of the poorest teams in League football since October - that matters. My only hope is that the correct decisions are made for the right reasons.

Being blunt we are garbage at the moment, why? There are many reasons. What is important is that we address the issues and push on with positivity that is still there with Carol and kevin at the helm.

His old assistant is now the manager at Colchester so I can imagine he would be more open to it.

Have I read that McGreal used to room with Sinclair ?  Any way, who says it's him ? Let the bloke/woman hang their coat up before there's a witch hunt.

Everyone says the presser is to announce a new manager, Carol might have decided she's had enough and is looking to sell the club.

I’d snap my hand off for what he achieved last year right now.

Success is subjective.

Carol didn’t say they candidate would have won promotion, if that’s what she meant that’s what she would have said.

Its up to fans now whether they use the word success to bash Carol with when a new man arrives.

Lots of people like to think they know best and know more than others about what’s best for the club.

For me it boils down to one thing... Carol has the right intentions for our club unlike previous owners. She won’t get everything right ... no one ever does. If anyone is expecting perfection from anyone at the club then they are in for a huge disappointment.

I will back whoever it is...

Unless it’s Holloway 😂

Constantly failed to deliver promotion despite heavy investment in the 1st team.

Colchester have hardly been heavily financed, not Mansfield or Bradford levels.

Add on being Southern the cost of living is far higher to tempt players there as well...

He knows the division well, has achieved decent finishes most of the time and bar the 3-0 last year Colchester always gave us a real tough game.

I think it would be a solid enough appointment. It’s surely him or after yesterday Carol has realised we need to push the boat out and has offered Flitcroft a better deal isn’t it.

Yes they did up until this season. Each season he was in charge they paid out good money for a player at this level. They where not a Mansfield as they also used the heavily invested academy to plug gaps in the squad as back-ups.

Lets be honest last season they only made the play-offs it as the season was cut short.
