Rumour is that the board believe the EGM regquest isn't lawful an have sought legal advice on this. I think they are looking at technicalities here.

 

I didn't believe this story when I was told it, but now with no news it makes it more believeable.

 

Why did they leave it this late if that is the case.It wouldn't be on purpose would it?

The board tried a million tricks to find a 'reason' not to call it last time but failed, hence their (or the clubs) massive legal bill. After weeks of trying to find technicalities, they gave up and announced it on the last day possible. I assume they will try the same tricks again this time around

 

Don't underestimate the lengths they will go to not to call it. They are filth, utter ******s!

I think so Barry,but I'm pretty sure that an increased % of shareholding needs to be used.Not sure of the financial implications.

As I see it the board had 21 days to call the EGM. It is now 22 days, so surely it's up to the shareholders to call it now?

So if the club dont call the EGM with no reason not to, the Supporters Club get to call the EGM on their own terms?

 

I dont really understands what happens in the event of the board room just stays silent and doesnt respond
