Ricky Miller for Aldershot Town

Seems to have a few mental health issues which he's opened up about recently, especially when he was at Vale. (https://www.onevalefan.co.uk/2020/05/former-port-vale-striker-ricky-miller-speaks-out-about-mental-health-issues/). He's made a real effort to put it behind him, it seems.

Not excusing his behaviour when with us, but sincerely hope he does well there. We saw flashes of his ability and it's nice to see a lad turn it around.

Looks like he's got his act together. I believe he quit the ale last year as well. Definitely looks healthier in the photo

Hope the move works out well for him.

What photo is that.

it’s a shame he got in with the wrong crowd when he moved to Vale and couldn’t keep out the chatterly pub in Tunstall. Scored plenty of goals in that standard so if he’s fit and wants it there’s no reason why he won’t do it again at Aldershot.

Probably more suited his level as well.

his free kick against Cambridge and his performance against Mansfield is probably his best vale highlight.

Rhys Brown has gone to Wealdstone National league and Jordan Archer at Southport National league (N). Does anyone think that these players were playing at too high a level with us, or will they play league football again.?

Don’t know what the issue with brown was but I think he just needs football to get in shape. He was definitely good enough for this level.

Nothing but best wishes for him.

Clearly loads of demons but gave us a couple of great memories. His mental against Cambridge when he scored was brilliant.

Didn't work out but also didn't deserve a lot of what was said about him.

Waste of a talent but hopefully he gets his head on and does well for them

A good footballer but not a good professional. He easily could have done well at Vale but was allowed to get in poor shape and abused his body when you compare the recent photos of him with those with us.

He did apologize for letting fans down on Twitter but unfortunately his clowning around could have made us a conference club.
