Pull the other one Jacko.

You are the go to fan for RS and even Midlands today. But you aren't in the know ?

I'd stake a pound of my savings that you are on first name terms with

Carol Kevin Tideswell Baguley Bowers Sherwin Garlick etc etc

Am I correct ?

The information Jacko posted is common knowledge, doesn’t mean she’s in the know.

I found all the info on the Synectics website. You could have done the same as could the bloke who started this thread if he’d been bothered.

Marian Humphreys is the finance director, a role she has at Synectics and one needed in any business.  Ian Lewis is one of the main IT blokes at Synectics - much needed at a football club these days.  Richard Wood has been involved in tracking fraud in his role at Synectics - probably useful for keeping an eye on our former owner!  I think Robb Moorhouse is involved in sales and marketing.

This is not just about running a football club, it's about running a successful business in the world of football.  I'm not actually sure what the point of the original post was.

Exactly, and Vale are probably saving some cash having these people share dual roles. With Garlick and Rudgie around (Plus the manager and coaching staff) how many more football people are needed.

Shrewsbury did it in a totally different pre covid situation. My main point is the massive loss of income at the football club is dictating the decision making. Its also not little Port Vale ,as someone else has mentioned. We're very lucky to still have a bloody football club.I'm disgusted by the attitude of a few players ,who are on more dosh than our essential workers, but couldn't give a toss.

I understand the finances and have stated that is why JA will remain in post, even though we’re walking a fine line as games go by and those below us pick up points.

You’re comments about Shrewsbury doing it in a different pre Covid situation, it was five weeks ago.

Simple, if you can’t afford to run a football club don’t buy one. Every single business has been affected and have therefore used contingency plans to attempt the very difficult task for some, of staying afloat!

Many teams have taken the stance of sacking a manager this season following an unacceptable run of results.

Can we all stop with the “poor little old Port Vale” theme! It makes me so angry that we collectively think that we ain’t got a pot to piss in! I’m sure that Carol & co have the finances to run a successful business in Synetics, therefore having the cash to run Port Vale. If they don’t, that is very concerning

You've got a very short memory regarding the reason Carol & Co. bought the club.

Furthermore, I'm sure the owners of clubs across the land will be very interested to hear about these wonderful contingency plans you talk about.  I assume you mean something other than pumping money in to make up any shortfall out of their own pockets?  OK, we've sold a decent number of season tickets, and have good shirt sales, but to suggest that the pandemic and lack of fans in the stadium hasn't smashed the coffers for 6 is just deluded.  We ain't gonna be pissing in a big pot that's for sure, and to sack the manager will cost money, signing players in January will cost money.  There's no sign of income streams improving any time soon so we'll have to be frugal else we'll be pissing all over our feet.

I’m more concerned about what’s happening on the pitch at the moment mate and nothings changed. We look worse now than under Aspin and Brown.

Norman, Bill Bratt, were all awful we all agree on that but the footballs still the same now, sadly. Let’s hope in another twelve months we’re a lot better on the pitch like we are off it now. 👍

So Carol is spending four times less than some clubs in the play-offs. That would indicate that the original suggestion that she hasn't got the money to run the club is false.
