Living out of the area I look to the Sentinel website for news on the Vale.

 

Unless I am missing something other than a pre match, match and match report there is never much on there each week but Stoke seem to have 3 new stories each day

 

Are Vale so short on news items?

No the sentinel and radio sjoke are so biased towards sjoke that we hardly get a mention

Isn't Baggers being shared round a few clubs now? The parent company did some restructuring and I think he covers a few different teams for a few different local papers.

Sadly, it's a sign of the times, with declining circulation and many people going on-line for their news.

I'm sure many of you can remember the days of two editions a day and the sport paper that came out on Saturday evening. It used to be very comprehensive coverage.

I quite like the Monday supplement when there's a summary of Saturday's match, with comments, but sometimes during the week it isn't very detailed and the days of having a fully comprehensive Friday evening review of Saturday's match have gone.

I think they do their best in challenging circumstances. Social media has overtaken printed media for the majority nowadays.

Well it's Wednesday and there hasn't been a single story on Port Vale so far this week. Whilst we're at it the nostalgia column in the Way We Were every Saturday seems to be the same three or four Vale matches on repeat. Are we only allowed to be nostalgic about a cup final or promotion winning match?

I subscribed to a PVFC latest news update through the Sentinel. What a waste of time. It’s all Sjoke same as RS and the presenters on that programme  IMO are also a waste of time. I check OVF and that’s where I get my PVFC fix. 
My message to both these media outlets is.

Poss mate, as recently got the Sentinel headline of how Coventry players performed off the Sentinel app.
