Rodney must be a cert to play up top for me.When he moved inside on Saturday he set Pope up with a header,got  the free kick from which Conlon scored  and scored himself.Clearly our most dangerous forward atm.

Can we board up our goal please the one the opposition are attacking as defensively for months now teams are getting free header ,free pot shots and so on .

If ever there was a sign of commitment to keep the ball out of our net I've yet see it this season .

Make changes hope the new starters have got a bit more about them in terms of doing the ugly things ,putting your body on the line making sure theres a 0 to the oppositions name I see that Oneil has them down the road heading back to the premiership and maybe even a league cup final cause there players are prepared to throw themselves at the ball ,they are quite a boring team watch though on what I've seen but if your a fan and you want see wins then style if replaced by dying for the club  and keeping clean sheets for the shirt is required to win games I wouldn't care less .(take note Vale ).

We are good watch but lose games with no sign of commitment at doing the ugly stuff the opposition could be doing nothing all game yet score that tells me that certain players do not want play for the Vale if that's get rid ,so whoever's he chooses as obviously he as a job for life here just hope its justified over time let's hope they are committed to keeping everything out of our net 

UTV Happy Xmas to all and a let's have a great new year with Vale reeling off win after win ,can we do yes course we can but in order do that at 2-0 up in games you can bring on a extra midfielder John maybe another defender ,and you can bring in players who know how to defend as what I'm rattling about earlier in my post as it's no good scoring 3 if concede 4 and systems are there to be changed as you seem leave Conlon on ,and I rarely see him last 20 mins of games, take him off and bring on fresh legs ,(maybe someone who can defend UTV because the game is won at 2-0

Going to be interesting to see if JA backs up his interview last Saturday and follows through with changes.Personally I would drop Brown,Mills,Legge & Joyce. A statement to the squad is long overdue following that defensive debacle.

It would surely be a final throw of the dice for JA but can't help thinking he will stick with his trusted players and just drop Smith.

I think he’ll be the scapegoat for last week (despite him not being the worst defender in that game).

Not sure if its being the scapegoat as others will be dropped i just dont think he will start in any position

None us know who the so called problem players are but it looks certain there are some,i guess we will find out soon and possibly in the transfer window as Askey wont want them at the club whoever they are thats for sure

I think the fact he was subbed over Legge and Mills speaks volumes and that’s why I think he’ll be dropped Saturday. Of course I may be wrong, but the managers comments after the game all lead me to believe someone will pay the price for the defensive horror show and I doubt it will be his captain. Smith isn’t one of the nuisance players either but he’s an easy change to make IMO.
