Rodney must be a cert to play up top for me.When he moved inside on Saturday he set Pope up with a header, got  the free kick from which Conlon scored  and scored himself.Clearly our most dangerous forward atm.

And is = clearly - improving with time!

His managerial record of late isn't that impressive yet some on FB would love him just because its Holloway...amazes me it does

Did well at Blackpool - think he would have kept them in the Prem if he hadn't been shafted! Done nothing much since...I think there's much better out there!

We have a manager at the moment, dont get me wrong that might change if we lose this game(i am sure some fans want us to lose just for that reason which is sad) but as i put on another thread my choice would be a manager still in a job Derek Adams, did well in scotland and at Plymouth at this level and the one above and is now doing very well with limited resources at Morecambe

Yes but according to some people on here that could have a negative effect on them

The majority of the time a new manager bounce does happen(not happened to us on a couple of occasions) its what happens after those games tbf...Jolley would not of been my choice here and ovf would of gone into meltdown looking at his record at his 2 clubs

What happens when we lose on saturday 🤣

We drop a few more places and JA and Co come out with the usual tripe about the players really played well, but a couple of silly mistakes in defence let them in.  They were more clinical than us in front of goal - we limited them to 3 chances and they scored 3 goals.  But we had most of the play, so really pleased we are creating chances in front of goal.  We will turn this around as the players are trying their best.

Just hope this is not the case and like the Christmas Carol and Scrooge, JA and Co can turn it around and we start winning again.

First boxing day fixture i don't feel excited for at all.

Expecting Askey doing what he does best and costing us a win with Barrow scoring late on. 1-1

I can fully understand your feeling of underwhelment, but fear not boslemportvale91, history is on our side. The last time Barrow beat the Vale, Harold McMillan was Prime Minister, the average cost of a house was £1,800 and Queen Elizabeth was on the throne.
