I am not "in the know" as you put it darren, any more than other people on this forum.  And the emails I received from our previous owner were not solicited by me and were largely full of crap.  Indeed he denied the contents of one of them in an open supporters' forum.  I very much suspect, however, that if our former owner was still here then Colin Garlick would not have been.

Some of the posts on this thread discussing employees of the club are rather pathetic.  I trust the authors wouldn't mind if their competence in their jobs was discussed in an open forum by people who had know idea what they were talking about.

He's very good as well, very helpful and nothing is too much trouble

He is excellent I emailed the club shop and got a reply late tonight (a Sunday evening) in regards to opening times over the next week. Didn’t expect to hear back until Tuesday. Superb commitment that. Emailed the ticket office mind a few weeks ago about the ten game tickets and ideas how they could possibly made value for money in the case of no fans and never heard back at all which was disappointing.

Have to be honest Jean i dont mind anyone chatting <ovf censored> about me and being honest here i am in a job where i have to be pleasant no matter what kind of day i am having so me saying that a certain member of staff rarely smiled or was not jovial when he was the face of the club in the position he was in is valid imo.

Sadly people do what they have to do and lets all be honest before we moan or make statements(that includes me tbf) none of us know why so maybe we should now skirt clear of this.

Feels as if I'm a passenger aboard Shanahan Airlines and our Aeroplane is hurtling downwards. Some passengers suspected things were out of control a while back, some still believe it'll be alright, but most now have the fear. Poor Captain Askey is pressing random buttons and pulling at various levers to no avail. There is salvation I believe. Flight lieutenant Adams from a rival airlines is sat at the back. But it needs Carol to radio permission for Derek to enter the cockpit and take the controls. Poor analogy I know, but I really do feel that we could be heading towards non-league status here. Decent bloke JA, and a heartfelt thankyou, but with dignity intact it's time to leave.
