January transfer window

I hope JA uses the transfer window to actually bring players in who will start in the 1st eleven when all players are fit rather than benchwarmers.

No.1 priority surely has to be a striker followed closely by an AM and DM. A CH would be nice although I think with a more mobile and physical DM we would look more solid than we currently are.

I think physically we are too lightweight in midfield without Manny and really need to strengthen.

Ched Evans is available. Would score goals at this level not sure we could afford his wages though. Depends on how much Robinson and Mckirdy were on?

Would split the fan base as per Lee Hughes but ultimately the conviction was over turned. As with the other lad at Fleetwood Madden,  Evans Is a proven goal machine.

Perfect for that lone striker role. Strong, mobile, hold up play is great and scores goals. Like you say though would divide opinion and I’m not sure he would want to walk into a struggling league 2 side.

Yeah can’t imagine him being an option for us.

Plus why get rid of 2 “trouble makers” and bring in another. For someone to be released for none footballing reasons by Joey Barton, a man who put a cigarette out on a youth team players eye, he must be a special character.

If it is the case that Robinson and McKirdy are going in January, then, for me, I’d pool the monies from both of their wages to get a ‘decent’ centre midfielder. One that can improve the first eleven. 

However, I have no idea who’s out there?

Agreed and January is notable for panics and players nobody wants. 

Other than a loanee most January purchases would be the equivalent of Robinson and Mckirdy ( surplus to requirements ) .
