Mills will take some getting up to speed on today’s showing.  We urgently need Gibbo back and up to speed.  Probably Brisley needs a run, or we sign a centre half.  Smith and Legge both culpable.

Agree that we need a first choice centre half, especially  if the manager doesn’t think that Brisley and Crookes are up to being first choice.  Gibbo will  obviously need easing in when he’s fit.

Agree. No point giving him anything to spend. Will just go to the usual places and see which ex macc players are available

Not much point paying two managers between now and the rest of the season either.

Hopefully by August a fair number of us will have had some sort of vaccine, Stoke on Trent will have finally been put into tier 2 and some of us will be able to get in the ground to watch us make a better fist of it next time round.

As for this season, we might as well all climb into a cardboard box full of straw until May.

Yes, season a complete write off as far as promotion is concerned, just hope we had enough to avoid relegation, so efforts should be made to get rid of some of the crap we signed this summer and do the job properly next summer.

Maybe it’s all got a bit too cosy.  Do we do a Micky Adams and put the whole squad up for transfer to see what movement can be generated?
