January transfer window

That's if Wozza plays right side which only happens when we have injuries

It may just be coincidence but Mitch played in all of those six games in a row we lost and hasn't played in the four undefeated since.  I know he has spoken about off-field issues so I don't think we are getting the best of him at the moment.  I certainly don't think we are getting the value for money from him we did last year.  If Gibbo is nearing fitness I think it makes sense to spend the money elsewhere.  We've missed Gibbo more than anyone lately.  His link up play with Worrall is a key part of our team.

I read yesterday that Taylor Perry the lad who scored against us for wolves is looking for a loan move he's scored 7 from midfield for the u21s so far this season. Now I'm not suggesting get him just because he scored against us but these are the type of players we will or should be scouting for loan deals as they won't count towards the squad and they are fairly local so no need to relocate which must affect young players. January is rarely a good time for permanent signings unless we're prepared to pay

Anybody know how long ago it was when Mitch asked for Phils phone number on twitter after he blamed him for something that wasn't his fault in a match? He deleted the tweet shortly after. I doubt it but I wonder if there's anything in that.

Also, off topic sorry, but I don't think it's worth starting a new thread for. My dad said the last time he heard Ray on P&G was before man city and one of the other commentators asked him if he was going to do the man city game. His answer was along the lines of "I better bloody be doing the man city game" and we haven't heard him on there since. As we went to man city I don't know who commentated on that match, anybody know what's happened with him? Hope he's alright, radio stoke is much better when either Ray or Mick are on.

Interesting timing indeed. And what, I wonder, can be the connection with Sir Bobby?
I may be a wide of the mark here, but surely the Worrall/Charlton thing is utter B.S. He's over 30, a Manchester native who has already had a failed move to London.

If the rumour was Bolton or Salford, I'd feel like it might have some legs. He might just be angling for a new contract?

He was down south for years so I wouldn't call it failed but as you say who's going to pay a fee plus relocation package for a 30 year old that's currently injured. Plus and I mean no disrespect to him you would expect Charlton to be aiming for a better quality player than Worrall

Clear from Mitch's tweet he's either injured and knows he's going back, or just being left out of the squad today ahead of his return:

A shame. A fundamentally good player for this level. Yes, he wasn't at his staggeringly good standard that he performed at in February-March, and was part of a team in a nightmare run, but if he goes to another League 2 club they've got a quality footballer.

It makes sense to get Mills up to speed with match fitness if Mitch is going back but there is no doubt he is a far better player. As for off field issues I think he's been banned from driving because I see him some mornings getting out of a taxi when I do the school fun

Interesting listening to Sproey re Jake Taylor.  Player going back to Forest in the transfer window for re evaluation and there is a 14 day period for a club to arrange a permanent deal, if not he will go back to Scunthorpe for the remainder of the season. Spray said he has spoke to JA about his potential availability.

Tell you what that reminds me of and I did some digging to remind myself of it. There was an incident down the road with Stoke not long ago with one of their players who did the same thing, he wasn’t playing and fans thought he should have been and when he wasn’t selected for a matchday squad he put a tweet out prior to the matchday squad being announced. Basically drawing attention to himself and the fact he wouldn’t be playing that day.
