I have often wondered if any of the Czech team that played at Vale Park also played against Brazil in the 1962 World Cup Final.

A quick glance at the programme suggests so.

Their lineup vs Brazil in the '62 cup final:

Tichy, Novak, and Kadraba seem to be in both.

Would like to see more of this. I want Germany polling up at Barrow and Werner sticking 7 past them.

Yep, several of the players to feature at Vale Park played in the World Cup.
