Yep, awful performance, Vale never really got going. Too many changes, playing system changed, too many player changes and most importantly too many changes to the spine of the team. Luke Joyce and Tom pope missed tremendously, particularly the former

4-3-3 is the system JA favors and the squad was built to play, Vale need to stay with it or some form of it.

 IToo hope it turns around Jacko,but it's hope not belief I'm afraid;fans are allowed to be cheesed off with Askey, it's realism not disloyalty.

Don't disagree with that.  Ten days ago we were 2-0 up against Tranny and fourth in the live table.  Nobody wanted Askey out then.

So you thought the team selection was fine apart from the striker.

Team selection was probably as good as it could be, but;

1. Players seemed unmotivated/not bothered

2. Players had no idea how to create a chance

3. Players (again) made silly mistakes

4. The players tonight as his players. He's been here nearly 2 years, and they've been pasted by a dog dirt Stevenage team. His signings are not good enough. The squad has aged, declined, and we haven't improved the first 11. Bar Amoo, our best 11 are Aspin and Brown signings.

Pope has done next to nothing all season, we didn't really miss him. And if we're relying on Luke Joyce for our results then just shut the club down now.

Lose tonight and fail to win on Saturday and I don't see how Askey keeps his job. But it's Port Vale, a club with little to no ambition, right from the majority of the fans to the cleaners who unblock the players turds from the changing room bogs.

Carol has ambition FACT Carol wants minimum top 7 FACT

How Carol has backed Askey and how she has treated the players,looking after every aspect for them including making sure they get full money during a pandemic then the management and players should be totally ashamed of themselves...total disgrace tonight
