I forgot how sick my 13 year old self was with nerves all day before and during this one.

Being forced to go on the Grand National at the Pleasure Beach didn't help.

Great game to show 4 2 away win cant complain with that dont think this current vale squad could score 4 in a game. Ian Taylor 20 goals from midfield wont even get 20 goals from our whole lot of midfielders in our squad. 

Thanks for showing the game rob it was a much better watch than that crap England served up.

It was an interesting watch, as it was the raw feed for TV highlights and not just some club video. You can hear Alastair Mann repeating some of his scripted bits and doing the odd pick up.

I've got most of that season on tape but not the highlights of that match. I do have just the goals on tape and knowing they were using multiple cameras, I did wonder if extended footage ever existed.

I assume Granada's other commentator at the time, Rob Palmer, would have been at Burnden Park.
