Match Thread: Morecambe v Port Vale

I think this shows where teams at this level fall down and that’s in the final third, weve had plenty of the ball but no cutting edge. We’ve tried to play little balls into the front man and Cullen has either not read them or not held them up. We’ve got into some good wide positions and not fancied putting a cross in.

I think Rodney could possibly have pulled It back instead of shooting when he got free and I also think Legges chance was better than it was made out to be on the commentary. Great ball from gibbo and I fancied Legge running on to that one to do better. Brisley and Gibbo have done well. Burgess probably hasn’t got into it like Manny maybe would have done, but we’re doing alright here so far. Just need to be more creative in that final third.

There's a cog button I believe (bottom right) where you can change "home" and "away" commentary

Ah yeah I thought I’d done that in the past! It’s not there where it usually is on my screen today so guess I’m stuck with it. Thanks anyway!

Does anyone know how to change the commentary for IFollow? I don’t think I can take much more of these two from Morecambe

If you are in full screen click escape to come out of it. There is a little cog wheel at the bottom right hand corner. Click on that then click on Audio. You can then select Away to get the Radio Joke commentary.

Vale look a decent team and playing some good football but without creating many chances, Morecambe just sitting back.

Gutted to learn Jake Taylor has gone Scunny, could have done with his creativity/shooting last week and this.

Anyone having problems with iFollow make sure you have no adblocker software running, it works fine for me on Chrome and Edge with no adblocker.

We have always struggled against the bus parking teams that put 10 men behind the ball.
We should be comfortably in front against these. Morecambe are content in holding us. They are a poor Team. I cant accept our best option is Cullen on his own up top. Ok hes getting no service but we ought to have another plan.

Comfortable in possession but lacking ideas in the final third. Cullen having to drop deep to get in the game because as long as the ball goes sideways and backwards he's just being bypassed.

You'd think in the conditions it would be worth having a pop at goal.
