Not sure how a tackle 13 months ago is relevant but hey ho.

This season already promises to be the usual suspects with supposed challengers falling to defeats already.

It's becoming about as predictable as Scotland.

To be fair to Chelsea, they were without Chilwell, Thiago Silva, Pulisic and Ziyech. They won't challenge this year as their new players will need to gel. Havertz in his two games so far hasn't looked any better than Barkley, but he has bags of ability and will surely come good. It will be between Liverpool and City again this year, but it will be interesting to see how Everton fair this time around, as they have a really good team now, and also how Spurs get on under Mourinho. Leeds will be entertaining too, for both right and wrong reasons.

Everton won’t make top 6 and city and Liverpool to battle it out ,as Darren says just like Celtic and rangers and they say anybody can beat anybody in the prem lol

Thiago Silva is playing and gave away the second goal. Now 3-2.

Credit to Leicester they really turned it around the second half. Don't think anyone expected Citeh to get turned over at home like that.

Second hat trick against citeh for Vardy now.

Guardiola`s teams have only conceded 3 hat-tricks , 2 against Vardy the other against Messi. Pity he had been subbed before Leicester`s  3rd pen otherwise he would have been  the first to score 4.

Pundits going in about how a new interpretation of the handball rule to bring the English Premier League into line with the rest of the world is "ruining the game".

The Premier League putting B teams into EFL competitions, no fans in stadiums due to coronavirus and the inevitable closure of clubs up and down the land to join the likes of Bury and Macclesfield Town. But nah, it's the Premier League using the same handball rule as La Liga and Serie A that will kill the game off in this country apparently.
