As I mentioned yesterday on the transfer rumours forum, has Holloway got the same clause in his contract? Probably not. Do as I say.......

How does he expect his players to be able to pay their bills? Doesn’t seem like he’s trying to look after those players. 

So, why would a player sign for him in those circumstances? I wouldn’t if I played as it doesn’t give me any financial stability. 

He also uses the word ‘panic’. He doesn’t know Vale’s circumstances.

Always liked his quirky ways and erratic behaviour.

This though smacks of sour grapes. Were there another proper total lockdown maybe furlough would be resurrected, ( I don't want to get political ) . He just seems to of spouted off purely because Theo opted not to join them.

It's a clever way of distracting attention away from missing a signing. In that - you say the other club's contract is "mad" knowing full well that details of that contract will never be disclosed - so it could well be he's making it all up just to distract Grimsby fans from the fact he lost out on a player. At the same time, he'd trying to make out Grimsby as a "sensibly" run club. But it's all done knowing that there's no way that Vale or any other club is going to reply with confidential contract information so he can pretty much claim what he wants.
