All EFL games to be streamed

So according to several news outlets sky will let you streams the games for a tenner. I presume season ticket holders will not have to pay anything extra. Good idea and hopefully all the money goes to the clubs rather than sky taking a cut. My only worry is if it's Ifollow will they be able to keep up the streaming without the constant lag and freezing issues like last season.

Thanks for posting the link I think that's a very sensible idea.

I think the Sky part is more relevant for Championship clubs as it allows any games that were to be televised to be streamed too. Championship clubs have loads of TV games but as Vale hardly ever have any TV games, that makes negligible difference to us. However, I suppose if we do make a push for promotion this season there is more likelihood of televised games.

Sounds like its good news though.

I tend to use chromecast for the football matches. Although I noticed sometimes Ifollow wouldn't always work on it, could be my device at fault though.

My worry is on the opening day will they be able to keep up with the streaming of all teams. Let's be honest sky or the efl don't give a damn about league one and two teams. So ill be happy with any sort of video/coverage of the game

The streaming of the Blackpool friendly was professional and much better than iFollow, which was frustrating more often than not last season..  I hope It is the club that will be doing  the streaming of Vale's home matches and that all fees go to the club.

I don't see how they'll be able to because there's a charging mechanism involved, £10 for non ST holders and free for verified ST holders. You can't really administer that properly through youtube.
