Of course they are going to fade in time.  Have you seen Sunderland's ground?  The old red seats are all pink these days.  At least now they are all yellow (insert Coldplay clip here).  Before there was a load of blue ones in there which i assume are old ones from the corner family stand.

They have done loads of work around the ground there were 2 volunteers painting the cladding by the training ground last week and they are now painting the by cars entrance and toilets and I also noticed the gates and signs at the front have all been done recently.

Congrats and thanks to all volunteers who have helped in these improvements. Let's hope we can get inside the ground before too long so that we can not only see the changes but enjoy them first hand!

The seats are ancient but those plastic ones tend to only be good for about 5 years anyway. Most top tier clubs used to replace them every season or so, especially when a new kit deal, such as say Warrior taking over from Adidas at Anfield meant a need to change the seats to change the sponsor logo it spelled out. 

The work being carried out shows that Vale Park is a majestic stadium that with care, should remain our home for years to come. 

It was the neglect of Smurfwaite that ruined the stadium experience, not the ground simply ageing.

Those who want to call it Vale Park will. For me if a stadium sponsorship is on the way it means more revenue for. Port Vale bring on the Autonet Stadium.

That's my view too. The <sponsor's name>  Vale Park stadium will do for me.
