Don’t know for sure, but it’s doubtful as it’s taking place at Fleetwoods training ground.

Well it seems as if all the news is behind closed doors up to now. I assume  trialists will make an appearance.

Mixed feeling on that. Would seem to indicate they are putting their starting 11 out so it will be a very tough test, which is good. The obvious negative is  I would love to be able to see it.

Not much to glean from that. Interesting that:

1. Whitehead seems to have been used as a holding midfielder again, this time between DTS and Conlon in the first half.

2. Front 3 was Browne, Rodney and Cullen first half which has the feel of a slightly more flexible shape than last season. From the report it sounds like Rodney and Browne again had good games. Browne might be better suited to a more flexible front 3 than the other wingers as he played through the middle quite a lot at Yeovil.

Be interesting to know which trialist got a run out second half. Guessing it was Beckford or Fitzpatrick with Hurst either dropping into leftback or left of the midfield 3.

On the face of it a good workout against a decent Fleetwood side. Be interesting to hear Askey's thoughts.

Although friendly results mean nothing, it’s always nice to win any game and Fleetwood would have been trying not to lose.

so it’s a good result against higher league opposition, which should stand us in good stead for the next season.

Looking at the report on the official website we have three trialists rather than the four we used against Blackpool. It seems one was Visser unless we played rush goalie in the second-half. I presume Fitzpatrick was another so I guess one of Beckford or Hayes has dropped out. 

It seems like Browne and Rodney had good games judging by the report.
