It was a niggly game, but both teams missed a few chances and it was end to end at times, even if it lacked real quality in the final third.

I think, on balance, the better team just about won.

A number of these European games are characterised by players going down too easily and that leads to frustration and ultimately everyone doing it.

That isn't to say that there weren't a few shocking fouls tonight either but I suppose the stakes were high.

Not sure who I wanted to win as Bayern can be a bit arrogant but PSG are owned by oil rich, nasty sheiks in the Gulf so I'm happy enough to see the Germans shade it.
