Can someone arrange a grouse hunt for Tuesday night in the ground?

You are also allowed to protest,so maybe we should protest inside the ground on why we cant have lapdancers

Regarding Gullis,he even tweeted the fact that he was in VP  watching the game with a pic,now that does wind me up

All these pics of folk getting excited at the game wind me up. Insensitive.

Phil is an employee of the club - he's the programme editor.  He also works for the Sentinel, like Mike Baggaley, who has done the co-commentator role without anyone complaining.

Correct. If everyone contributed as much to PV as Phil does. We would be in a better place.

600 tickets sold for Stafford Rangers FA cup game. Sold within the first 10 minutes apparently. emoji848.png

Non league clubs below the national league are allowed fans, with a maximum of 600. Less at smaller grounds. Covid restrictions obviously. Attendances at local non league clubs have rocketed. It's not a replacement for going VP, but better than nothing.

It looks like only season ticket holders will be allowed if it happens at all this season.  They might all want a pint but they won't get in the pubs as it stands.  I guess they would be expected to queue socially distanced, possibly wearing masks, and I'd guess this would be stewarded/policed.  I would imagine that seats would be allocated on a match by match basis and again this would be controlled by stewards once in the ground.  I wouldn't worry about Vale scoring at present but again masks will probably be compulsory so you can shout as loud as you want, into your mask, with nobody outside your bubble within 1 metre.  At the final whistle the ground could simply be emptied a section at a time, fans remaining in their seats until called.

Whatever the guidelines, it just requires the majority conform, as is currently the case with the wearing of masks in shops.

I think that most fans will abide by any rules if the choice is returning to live football in grounds, or not, whilst you clearly think everyone is an anarchist.

I dont think you can compare 4000 excited lads at a football game to a few people in a shop. But if thats what you think then go ahead.

You've completely missed the point.  I'm not comparing 4000 excited "lads" at a football game to a few people in a shop.

Just to spell it out for you, the point I'm making is that the majority of football fans will conform to any guidelines put in place to enable them to resume watching live football in stadiums.  If one of the criteria meant wearing masks in the ground then I believe the majority would do so, as we already do in shops.

I only wish we could "go ahead", like grassroots and ladies football, theatres, cinemas, and the like, armed with the knowledge that the club has implemented the necessary provisions to enable this to happen in a safe manner.
