I'm sure everyone is right. I'm trying to remain hopeful, but I still can't see why letting c. 4000 fans into a ground that holds c. 20,000, in the open air, spaced out, is such an insurmountable problem. Sure, I get the issues around pubs and congregating together but folk know the risks now. You might even find that some ticket holders don't want/can't go anyway because of ongoing health problems. I'm sure many have purchased a ticket to help the Club first and get there when they feel safe. You can surely spread 4000 folk around Vale Park, stagger entry and exit, have strict one way systems, stewarding, etc.  Anyone breaking the rules is banned for the season. Even half that many (2,000) would be better than nothing. Ticket holders then see one home game in every two.

Indoors is a different kettle of fish entirely. But outside in the fresh air, at least 2 metres away from anyone else, shouldn't be a huge problem, surely?

Agree Sage and personally would attend knowing such. Toilets, food and drink could be tricky.

It would be great if we could get fans in for the Carlisle and Salford games, cant see us being chosen for any pilot event v Harrogate with our infection rate being high

I have said though make us all wear masks i wouldnt mind that and for me any who refuse point blank to comply just take their season ticket off them(harsh but if it allows us to carry on going in so be it).

No, you were right first time. Some clubs were contacted this morning and asked to apply today to be a pilot event for the weekend.

There would be 1000 fans max.

No idea if Exeter are one of the clubs who have applied.

Isn’t it discriminatory and unfair that if the 1k go in they’re all home fans?

Be almost a full average for Morecambe that!

It won't be of any financial benefit to the club if they only let 1,000 season ticket holders in plus you will have 3,000 disappointed fans. I personally think that they should sell tickets for the test games at least then it will be a little bit of income for the club
Would you, as a ST holder, stand for that?

Norwich are one of the clubs selected and this is how they are doing it:

Season ticket holders can apply for up to 6 (six) tickets for this Saturday’s fixture against Preston North End (Carrow Road, 3pm kick-off). All fans that are part of the application must belong to the same support bubble to be eligible to attend the game. If successful, all seats will be located together.

Multiple applications will not be permitted. For each additional ticket requested, a unique supporter number must be provided. If one supporter number is selected throughout the application, this application will be void.

Initially I thought it was a bit of a free for all. It's a bit more controlled than that but it's still relying on fans not to sit together with their mates
