I'm going to stick my neck out and call it that no fans will be allowed back in before the end of February next year. At work we have just started to send out flu vaccines and the smart money within the pharmacy industry is we are in for a grim autumn and winter.

Think you are right there unfortunately

you have to wear face covering to go into a shop or you could be fined from £100+ but the staff working inside the shop don't why is there one rule for some and another rule for others why cant fans be allowed to attend games but they must have a face covering and be 2mtrs apart.

I think there's a world of difference between expecting normal shoppers to abide by the rules and the pi55ed up regulars of the Crown et al. Can't see it working myself

I'm sure everyone is right. I'm trying to remain hopeful, but I still can't see why letting c. 4000 fans into a ground that holds c. 20,000, in the open air, spaced out, is such an insurmountable problem. Sure, I get the issues around pubs and congregating together but folk know the risks now. You might even find that some ticket holders don't want/can't go anyway because of ongoing health problems. I'm sure many have purchased a ticket to help the Club first and get there when they feel safe. You can surely spread 4000 folk around Vale Park, stagger entry and exit, have strict one way systems, stewarding, etc.  Anyone breaking the rules is banned for the season. Even half that many (2,000) would be better than nothing. Ticket holders then see one home game in every two.

Indoors is a different kettle of fish entirely. But outside in the fresh air, at least 2 metres away from anyone else, shouldn't be a huge problem, surely?

What will happen with season tickets?

Surely fans haven’t paid x amount to just watch our games via a stream for the majority of the season?

It will be interesting to see what happens.

Que sera, sera. We have no control of the situation.  I personally will be saving  £20 petrol money per game,  and watching mid-week games I usually  cant attend.,  but missing visits  to Vale Park live action, fans  and atmosphere   Peoples circumstances will vary.
