as daft as it seems I think they might be, the uk has 125 active warheads and 215 in total, we have 4 subs but only 2 out on patrol with 8 missiles each carrying 8 warheads, so although vlad would be alright, a possible 200+ targets wouldn't be...

As I say, the easier decision would be to sack him, but I don't think that's how you should treat people who you respect. He took so much flak for not doing it, even though it would have obviously been massively disproportionate.

 

One day you'll step back and realise how ridiculous that whole episode was. It was next to meaningless and was blown up to be a watergate style scandal. I'm sure Sage said it was the biggest political scandal in the UK in his lifetime or something. Just staggering really.
