Good interview with Burgess. Who are the two youth team midfield player knocking on the first team door they talk about? Don't know anything about the current youth team.

Looking at it, the lad wearing #24 could well be Hayden Campbell actually. Now 20 and still with us, was U18s captain. Maybe a misheard name? The trialist pictures are so low res it's hard to discount people.

Hayes seemed to have been highly rated over the last few years at Forest but did his knee and got left behind by the generation he was coming through with.

2015 - "Kie Hayes is the real attacking talent who hopefully stays injury free now"

2016 - "Thought Kieran Hayes was class last night like Donny says. I've always rated him, pace, trickery, smart. He has it all & when Freedman talks about versatile forwards he is one. He can really be a player and probably the youngest out there last night."

"The front 3 looked lively, Hayes with his link up play in the #10 role,"

"I would love to see this team with Kieran Hayes in the #10 role but we going to have to get a lot further but he is probably a few months away still because I can't imagine many teams handling the movement of Hayes, Gomis, Brereton"

2018 - "Highly rated but cruciate ligament beginning of last season and this season has been up and down with little niggles"

They loaned him to Truro last season. They seem to rate him but the most recent comments earlier this year suggested he was at risk of being let go, sounds like a poor injury record.

Yeah that's Bradbury.
#9 in this game where he got a hattrick:

A bit off topic but what great highlights. So much better than ifollows 10 minute offering which includes 5 minutes of watching the players walk down the tunnel, shaking hands, the lineups and drawn out replays.

Comments by a guy on who knows a lot about the Forest Academy on Hayes:

Definitely. Quality individual that has been unlucky with injuries but with the right commitment and opportunities and a bit of luck who knows what the future has in store for him.

I quite like these sort of signings. Low risk, some potential in there. Need some proper coaching, with hopefully Sinclair can provide. Get him on loan and reap the rewards. If it doesn't work out, not a lot lost.

Stand by my claim that the 'big dog' striker is still needed, though.
