Wycombe Wanderers and Gareth Ainsworth

Recommended Posts

What an amazing story.

I actually work in a unit just above the ground (well I would if I wasn't furloughed) and it's so tiny (the stadium, not my workplace).

It's unbelievable to think it will be a Championship stadium now.

I know a number of Wycombe fans through work and there's some real die hards who will be over the moon.

Not the best side on the night in my opinion, but what a team spirit and who can deny them the success, so pleased for Gareth he deserves the accolades.

It's a great achievement and could not happen to a nicer bloke than Ainsworth.

Congratulations to Gareth taking Wycombe Wanderers to the Championship last night.

An achievement with the lowest budget in League 1 and only 9 players at the start of the season!

An ex Vale idol who should have been manager at the Vale !

Well Done Gareth .

I think it shows what giving a manager time to work can do it may of taken 8 years to do it. But what have we done in the last 20 chopping and changing managers every couple of years

Tbf I think you can only make a real case for Foyle, Page and Adams having any great success with a longer stay. The others being Glover, Sinnott, Gannon, Ribeiro, Brown, Aspin

Magnificent achievement.

They are a minnow in League one never mind the Championship.

Not a fan of smug and cheesy Robinson so it was a lovely result.

I absolutely love Martin Foyle, but you're being very kind there! Lol
