As others have said it isn't a women issue at all it's a personal preference whether male or female.

My "other" team is Granada. They played a group game in the Europa League last night and the referee was female.

This thread came to mind and I wondered what sort of meltdown it would create if Stephanie from France officiated one of our games.

She was excellent by the way.

I think that the best commentators who I respect are those who have played the sport at the highest level which with all due respect women commentators on men's matches HAVE NOT. Womens football is simply not the same so women commentators for women's matches fine.

The worst commentator, pundits etc are men. Merson, Keown. He ends every line with a question. McManaman fake laugh and generally acting ott. Suppose I am not keen on Sue Smith. But she is better than those who I have mentioned.
