Eddie Howe gone from Bournemouth.

That’s a big mistake, what were the owners expecting? They were a tiny club in the premiership, their ground only holds 11,000 for God’s sake.

Not knowing the ins and outs of why Howe has left Bournemouth but I cant help but think that they need stability now not jumping on the madhouse merry go round that promises everything and ultimately achieves nowt.

They are hardly a big club who will be able to throw their weight about in the Championship.

Left by mutual consent.

I can't imagine him being out of work for too long,he'd be ideal for Watford.

Kewell ? Oldham must be desperate.  How long did he last at Notts county ? Ten weeks or something.  His post match interview after we played them still makes me laugh. Guy is a grade A plonker

Indeed he is but not as much of a plonker as his predecessor there.

I don't think any manager leaves by mutual consent, the mutual consent part of the statement probably refers to how much his compensation is and how it's going to be paid.

As a side issue Artell is 20-1 with the bookies for the Bournemouth job, strange times we are living in.

Odds for the next Bournemouth manager:

Jason Tindall 4/7, Lee Johnson 6/1, Chris Hughton 9/1, John Terry 10/1, Danny Cowley 12/1, Paul Cook 12/1, Stephen Purches 14/1, Alex Neil 16/1, Gareth Ainsworth 16/1, Joey Barton 16/1, Karl Robinson, 16/1, Kenny Jackett 16/1, Lee Bowyer 16/1, Nigel Adkins 16/1, Nigel Clough 16/1, Nigel Pearson 16/1, Paul Tisdale 16/1, Ralf Rangnick, 16/1, Scott Parker 16/1, Steven Gerrard 16/1, Tony Pulis 16/1, Dave Artell 20/1.

I wouldn't wish some of the names on that list on Stoke, never mind Bournemouth.

No vacancies there I'm afraid.

He's a southern lad and failed to cut it at Burnley. I'd expect him to stay within reach of the south coast. WHU might have been a good fit if they'd needed a manager.  He does try to play the right way.

How long will Hodgson go on for?

I don't know what he'll do but the merry-go-round will eventually stop and he'll find employment. Even somewhere like Fulham if he was given some money.

I'd expect B'Mouth to maybe keep it in house.
