LEAGUE 2 PLAY OFFS

Very fortunate but they took their chance after coming back from 0-2 down in the first leg of the semis.

I have to say that I really don't like their style of play. Long throws, corners, long ball, big, big lads throughout the team. It works at this level. I get that. But it's horrible to watch.

It's an age old debate isn't it as to whether or not you'd be happy to watch hoof ball if it brought you success. I suppose the answer is yes but we were ruined by Rudge's lovely footballing teams and I seem to recall that at times Adams and Page certainly got some stick - even though we were in a higher league.

Frustrating for us but good luck to them. I thought Exeter would do it and were a far better team. It must be their worst result of the entire season. But from as footballing viewpoint losing Northampton and Stevenage (hopefully) is fine by me.

League 2 is generally awful to watch and I really hope we go up in the coming season. League 1 at least has some glamour with ties against the likes of Sunderland and Ipswich.

We don’t even get a Crewe match coming up either.

Watching Northampton go up felt like someone robbing my house. Had that season been finished properly, no way would they have gone up ahead of us.

Impossible to say who would have gone up, the top 2 teams probably deserved to go up as they were in the top three most of the season, Plymouth were more hot and cold . As for the play offs Northampton in the last 2 games were outstanding and I am not sure any team in League 2 would have been able to cope with them !

Northampton,the new Wimbledon?

Absolutely - think Keith Curle once played for them! Glad they've gone up as they are an absolute pain to play against and we'll do better against footballing sides. Think they'll struggle in League One - most sides will cope with their long ball game and can't see the Cobblers playing enough good football to win many games. Well, we'll see.
