When David Worrall looked down at his phone last Thursday, he laughed out loud. There it was; his name, sandwiched in between a cluster of Premier League stars. De Bruyne, Worrall, Grealish, Maddison, Alexander-Arnold. According to ‘playmakerstats’, these are the footballers with the highest number of key passes-per-game in 2019/20 throughout top four tiers of English football.

The change in the club is reflected in Worralls comments. We are going in the right direction in every aspect of the club. Dave Worrall is an example of how a badly run club can affect players and how a well run club can change those same players into a team that wants to play to the best of their ability for the club and its fans.

Really well written piece, which neatly sums up the progress we have made through the eyes of one of our key players. It was a disappointing end to the season but it just gives us hope that the good times will be back. Well done Wozza and well done Carol and Keith. Feels good to be a Vale fan again.

Cracking read, and i was never a big fan of Aspin but we can only imagine what it was like working under THAT regime before.

The whole atmosphere, staff, players and fans was one of pure despair as we tried to stave off either non-league football or becoming Bury.

The revelation that has been Worrall and Joyce is remarkable and possibly rather than being a slant against Aspin is more to do with the whole culture of the club at the time. He literally had his hands tied behind his back and possibly had very little input on certain matters.

The whole club is completely different and it is great to read stuff like this and also JA saying he has players asking to come here .

Can't wait to get started again whenever that may be and hopefully the way the season ended will galvanise us onto ever better things.
