I've narrowed it down to only players who have made 30 or more League appearances as I can't see how it can justifiably go to anyone making less appearances than that.

All nine players who have reached that number of appearances have been included in the poll.

So, out of the nine contenders, who do you pick as your player of the truncated season?

Vote now.

Wirral for me too then our capitan a close second and all others a Nats away in third!! Very unfair to pick one over all the outstanding performances over the "season" well done all and here's to next season whenever that may be

Yes my thoughts exactly, they all put in a good shift playing some good confident football.

Not going to argue with the Pope, Smithy for me. Really come of age this season and scored a few.

1 Smith

2 Worrall

3 Amoo.

Worrall would be a worthy winner though, and if anyone picked one of the others I wouldn't think that they were insane. Makes a nice change to have a choice.

I think over the course of the season we've had a core of players who have in the main been consistent, I’d say a much bigger core than in the last few seasons too. I think of all those listed they’ve had many more good games than bad games, but the reason Worrall sticks out is because of his goals and assists. Overall Askey deserves credit for keeping us settled as well. Brown, Gibbo, Legge, Smith have been the mainstays of defence, Joyce in midfield, Worrall and Amoo on the wings. All that adds up promising signs as we try to build something.

Don't you think it's a sign of how far we have come in 12 months when a player like Scott Brown hasn't yet got any votes and I think 1 mention on the whole thread.

Cant disagree with anyone else though, I'd have 1st Worrall and then a toss up between Smith and Joyce for 2nd and 3rd.
