Recommended Posts

Really enjoyed watching that again forgot just how well we played  the away end was packed and they had to close the turnstiles hundreds of vale fans couldn’t get in

Went to make a brew at ht and missed the first two goals, didn’t go the replay at Derby but went the home tie.

Did I really see Mark Wright put the boot in the back of Andy Porter while he was on the ground ? Cant remember that at the time. Mind you I cant remember what I did yesterday ! 😂😂

I meant west brom

Yes you're right, at West Brom Simon Mills came out in a long black wig and we won 3-2, and from memory Andy Porter scored a screamer ! The Saturday after the Derby game.

The whole thing is available to watch again if you want to replay it at all.

Think I was at that one. Bob hazel was in the away stand with the vale fans. Massive.

The commentator, who was generally quite good, kept calling both our fullbacks Simon Hughes.

Yeah, I thought for the home team they were pretty good at staying impartial

Really enjoyed watching this.

An excellent team performance and merited victory.

I had always remembered Dean Glover for his elegance, but he was incredibly obdurate as well!

Class player.

Darren Hughes stood out for me.

His pace was invaluable in covering the defence.

Great night.

I was in the home paddock with our local, Derby supporting, newsagent.

It was a good trip back to Sheffield.

Where I live.

He didn't just dump me there 😂
