I was doing some volunteering, cleaning seats etc last summer. Had a good chat with him and a photo.

He was hoping to get offered a deal whilst he was training, worked for both parties, kept him fit and gave JA a chance to see if he fancied signing him, which he chose not to do.

I'm pleased he's doing well.

Always struck me as a genuine wholehearted player, a bit like Loft in some ways, in that they'd always guarantee you at least a 7/10 performance and often an 8 or a 9.

Fans love 100% effort and commitment . Foley gave that and scored the odd goal for us as well.

I thought he was a very good and reliable player for us and I'm sorry we didn't keep him. Easily capable of playing in league two.
