Pentagon releases UFO footage

Can we take from this that UFOs are real and they have visited? Shouldn't this be huge news? Good time to release it now? 

I've always thought we cant be alone. The universe is far too vast for that. Is this proof we are not?

I'm probably being pedantic but doesn't UFO - or unexplained flying objects mean exactly that - in that they don't know what they are. They could be secret planes from rival states, strange natural phenomenon, weird video glitches or indeed alien craft. They are by definition not known.

But just because they can't explain it doesn't automatically mean they are from other worlds. It could do, but it could also be a Chinese or Russian new weapon. So this isn't saying, yes there are aliens, merely that this footage is unexplained and one of the explanations could be alien craft.

I doubt the Russians are doing anything particularly high tech these days. But the Chinese are definitely doing... well who knows what it's top secret! But if the American military can't explain it then it's probably the Chinese military.

Since manned space flight first began in the 60’s, astronauts have long reported seeing “UFO’s”. As this was the human races first steps into space, any craft seen must have been alien.

Indeed sightings were so common that astronauts reporting such phenomena were instructed to use code names and not refer to these craft as UFO’s etc. One such code name was Santa Claus. But have aliens been on earth ?

The Roswell incident in New Mexico and indeed our very own Rendlesham Forest incident in Suffolk are well documented. But the activities purported to be going on at the Dulce Air Base (near to the infamous Area 51) on the New Mexico/Colorado border are less so.

My friend is a military buff and after speaking to him he's said that basically if the American's don't have a military technology then it doesn't exist. So if they are baffled then who knows what the UFOs are.

After WWII president Truman was concerned about the number of UFO sightings and supposedly took it serious enough to set up some kind of committee to look into their existence.

When Truman left office in 1953, he was replaced by an even more entrigued Dwight Eisenhower who had a keen interest in potential Extra Terrestrial life. He is even rumored to have met aliens face to face. Read on ;
