Who bought there first record from Mike Lloyd?

 

I remember all the hype about this great new record shop opening in Hanley with it's fantastic range of albums. I think that it was about 1975 and was called Blood Lloyd. I was quite excited about it because if you wanted a decent album you normally had to order it. Anyway I compliled a list of 5 albums, can't remberer what they were, apart from one was Ry Cooder's 2nd album - Into the Purple Valley. I walked into the "superstore" - not only didn't they have any of the albums, the staff had never heard of any of the artists either.

Was this the start of a long career by Mike Lloyd, whereby he is unable to understand what the public wants.
