season tickets 20/21

Wonder if the club are planning any changes to season ticket prices as it looks like some home games at the start will be behind closed doors.

I really do want to help the club but I'm not currently in a financial position to buy a season ticket when i don't know how many games that will include.

I would imagine they will have to offer another partial refund.

There maybe broadcast options if no fans are allowed in elsewhere.

That’s a possibility, like I said in another thread, they would have been better delaying the ko  untill October when fan are allowed in.

even if there are broadcasts, it won’t pay as much as fans through the turnstiles, and some clubs won’t be able to afford it.

Agree completely

Very disappointed we will miss some games and it actually decreases my appetite for the season.

I’m on the fence if I will renew.

Once we get closer to the season kicking off your appetite will be whetted. Climb down off the fence.  Renew.  You know it makes sense. 👍

I’m sure it will.

I know the club needs money to survive but season tickets may have to be cheaper to make value for money.

Heard a friend from another club say that they think only season ticket holders will be allowed into grounds.

Will be I testing to know what the government say closer to October.

Historically the 10 game ticket has carried the same weight as a full season ticket when it came to purchasing tickets which were in limited supply, ie. cup tickets etc.  Unless crowd numbers are restricted to a figure lower than the number of full season ticket holders there's no reason to think that 10 game ticket holders will not gain access.  Other clubs may be different depending on their total ground capacity v number of ST holders.

I'd guess a risk assessment will have to be carried out at each stadium to give an exact percentage on an individual basis for each stand.

I suppose it will depend on the ground capacity and how many season tickets the club sells. If vale are allowed around 5000 into the stadium then maybe they will be able to put tickets on sale before the day of the game

For me there's just too much uncertainty presently surrounding how many games fans will actually be allowed to attend next season, both at the start of the season and with the possibility of a second wave, to justify renewing mine, as much as I would like to. Like many others, I'm now out of work as a result of all of this. If we get 3000 renewing I'd be surprised. A few clubs will go to the wall if there is a second wave and lockdown I suspect

I think we’d easily fill that, if it was indeed the case. First proper game back is going to a significant crowd me thinks, although that’s like to be season after next if you ask me.... unless the government insist on masks...
