season tickets 20/21

I was fortunate enough to have a bit of a bonus in this month's pay packet so I went and bought my season ticket with it. They've ironed out the teething problems they had with the online system and it all worked fine for me.

With regards to season tickets I know this thread is about next season.

But......I hope people have an understanding ( not all will ) of the current situation and don't bleat about losing 4 home games and wanting a refund.

If only 25% of people wanted this it would cost the club maybe 80 grand ?

Bound to be some .

I'm more than happy to "lose" the 4 games from my 2 season tickets. I will not require a discount or money back.  Vale and Carol are my "look forwards to" once all this terrible virus situation clears.

Totally correct. I've seen it mentioned here and there in the media and hope our fans see the bigger picture, I'm sure common sense will prevail

I brought 2 tickets for the bradford and crawley home games and Oldham away ticket and coach ticket to the total of 63 quid. I don't really know what do as I dont have alot of money so if it was possible to get that money back then I'm more likely to take it than say let them keep the money. When this lockdown is over I will only be on 3 days a week so I'm earning more now 80 % of my wages being furloughed whereas when I return to work I will get less and not be able afford pay bills so I need that money back really.

Totally understandable. I am sure you could get a refund now if you required.

Understand mate. everyone's situations are different. Trust you are keeping well and certainly if finances dictate I realise some may have the need to feel they want some money back to assist in everyday living.

I was simply stating that for me I'd be more than happy for the club to retain the money for unexpired season tickets and I would assume many others may state the same. Equally those in need of every penny have a similar right to ask for refunds or credits.

These are trying, unforseen times so everyone is still in a sense of surealism. It's very difficult to have correct answers to all problems that are cropping up. We all have to do what we can within our own bounds and sincerely hope that very soon the entire Vale family can gather at the Park and show our appreciation to those that dearly deserve it. I know football is not a high priority on many lists but the friendship and togetherness of Vale fans nationally will help us get through this.

Keep safe everyone, see you all soon.

Yes I don't mean to sound righteous in what I post on here either. I now have the money to do what I say, but it is true for many years in my life when I was a student and then had a family and mortgaged up to the eyeballs I didn't.

Thanks for your comments people. I live on my own so it's hard enough paying for Bill's and having some kind of social life when on full pay let alone 80 % wages or 3 days a week. I think when I'm on 3 days a week I will be able claim universal credit to help pay some of the rent.

As for the 63 pounds I owed im still hoping that the games will go ahead and we will be able be there to watch them but doesn't look likely now. The only internet connection I have is for my phone so watching matches online might not be possible. It works for robs matches that he has being showing on a monday night though. Getting a refund at the moment would be difficult for anybody anyway as I'm presuming the ticket office and club shop are closed and nobody is there to pick up calls.
