Is that true? Horses are animals just like us. They have mouths and eyes.

One dog has so far got Covid 19, without actually suffering any symptoms. So far it appears to only affect humans, and possibly whatever exotic species it originally jumped from to reach it's first human host.

They announced on Friday that anyone returning from Cheltenham will not be screened at Dublin Airport. That’s roughly 30,000 people.

The Irish are taking the UK government's lead on this? Let the infection spread and we'll build herd immunity?

The human coronavirus may enter the respiratory tract of horses but it may not have the molecular machinery to infect horse cells so the virus will "Die" inside the horse.

In Wuhan the coronavirus most probably mutated inside whatever animal it was residing in, this mutation must have formed a new strain of the coronavirus with the molecular machinery to infect a human cell.  So once this new strain of the virus got into a humans respiratory tract it was able to infect human cells and multiply and then spread to other humans.

Like I said on another thread:

Extend this season, say till August. Start the new season in October and change the EFL structure from three divisions to four as a one off measure - that's 18 clubs per division, so 34 games for each club between then and May, not much difference to having a 46 game season between August and May. At the end of next season no promotion and relegation between the EFL divisions, but there could be exchange of clubs between the EFL, Prem and National Leagues as now. Final league standings determine which division each club goes into when the three division format is reinstated in 2021-22.

Of course this doesn't address how the Prem and National Leagues compete in 20/21 but that would be a matter for them.

That would be a financial disaster 6 less home games for EFL clubs and probably lower crowds towards the end of the season due to no promotion or relegation !

Depends on what you do with the other competitions, FA Cup, League Cup and League Trophy, but I'm sure it could make up the difference if any is needed. As for the lack of promotion and relegation between the divisions, well there's still promotion to the Prem from the top division and I'm guessing the inhabitants of the bottom division would like to avoid relegation to the National League. For the other two divisions, if the league you play in for 21/22 depends on your league placing that would provide sufficient incentive - the top six from the second division go into the Championship in 21/22 while the bottom six of the third go into L2 - a fate they'd want to avoid.

It's not perfect by any means but a workable solution.

For anyone who thinks this is a joke. Just look at other Countries. Virtually everywhere is locked down, including pubs, clubs, ect. Israel have tonight banned people from having gatherings of more than just 10 people. Yes just 10 people. Weddings, Funerals all Banned.
And then if you dont think that is real, listen to the NHS doctor on Fivelive. The full interview is being repeated after 10.30 tonight. Remember this is not some rumor, it's a full time NHS doctor. Basically saying the UK currently has around 6000 beds in ICU. They are expecting to need 1.5Million.
