How many were postal tests sent out yesterday?

Over 25,000 that haven't yet been processed.

Plus several thousand more delivered by express courier (of the order of 8-10,000).

And the total includes dud tests that have been sent back.

Any increase in testing is more than welcome. It's very good news. It will save lives and it's one of our key tools in extricating ourselves from this problem.

It's a shame we ended community testing too soon (on March 5th) but we are making a huge effort now to get up to speed.

But, please, don't manipulate the way in which we count tests. Try and be truthful and give us the honest picture with no spin.

Is there any truth in the rumour that Priti Patel has set next month's target at 345,976,945,0000?

Probably, although they contacted Dianne Abbott for her view and she said she couldn't answer because she was busy revising for the Corona virus test

73 thousand tests is a good achievement. We have acted slow on most things so far but it's progress. It's a shame they have to lie about the number and change the criteria to cover up the fact they didn't achieve their 100k target.

Excellent news,never in doubt.

You need to milk it, there has not been much else to shout about. You complain about the media when it suits, but in fairness without the media pushing the Tories it would not have been achieved. They have been late with everything Lockdown, Testing to name just a couple, and the PPE and Care home treatment still a shambles. Who knows if the figures for the test have been doctored, certainly not going to trouble you.

Drs/nurses protesting over lack of ppe.

Probably those labour activists again.

The article does say the protest was organised by Unite who happen to be the largest donar to the labour party. Unlikely they were doctors and nurses as they are in different unions. As there are banners about other causes in the photographs the evidence is some of the small number in the photos are political activists of some persuasion.

Are you fact checking jokes now?

Captain Tom did praise the performance of Boris Johnson yesterday according to quotes in the Daily Mirror.

A lot of broadcasters are hardly providing essential services. If you apply your rules to Farage you should apply them to everyone.

RB the Union Jack must have dropped over your eyes again.    This country owes a lot for what the broadcasters/media have done. The Government has been slow to respond at every turn, until the media have criticised them

Johnson has spent a fortune on fake info, and you have the neck to blame the doctors nurses, you Tory fanatics really do stop at nothing.

As I didn't vote Tory at the last election, or UKIP, you clearly making an unsubstantiated comment. I was merely commenting that this article was almost certainly organised by people who were political activists based on the information contained within it and the photos. How is that blaming doctors and nurses?
