That is a bit rich coming from you.  Before you criticise so called Labour activists remember Corbyn is out, Keir  Starmer is the new leader.  And in case you have not noticed Boris Johnson is the Prime Minister.

Yeah but look at what could have happened if this or that had happened. Daft argument.

If we cannot criticise the government over the poor way they have handled Coronavirus then democracy is truly dead. And I thought these Brexit voters were all about democracy?

I see some people saying Boris should have lockdown sooner, some saying no lockdown was needed. Some saying he should have done this or should have done that.

So I take it you’re saying you’d prefer him to ignore the advice of medical and science experts and just done what he felt was best???? 🤔

I guess that could have worked BUT i’d much prefer our world leaders to follow scientific and medical advice myself. It may still not be perfect but it will always give us our best chance.

Be careful what you wish for.

Labour activists pull the other one. Just people who can see the poor job the government is doing and are unhappy with it.

It seems people like these Brexit voting new Tories are looking at politics like football. It's not tribal guys, you are allowed to criticise those you voted for. I cant understand the mental gymnastics these people go through to try and show their blue vote wasnt a mistake.

You need to milk it, there has not been much else to shout about. You complain about the media when it suits, but in fairness without the media pushing the Tories it would not have been achieved. They have been late with everything Lockdown, Testing to name just a couple, and the PPE and Care home treatment still a shambles. Who knows if the figures for the test have been doctored, certainly not going to trouble you.

It seems to be troubling you?

Good to see in The Independent  that the Nightingale Hospital in London is being "Wound down " after no new patients have been admitted in a week, something positive to report and a bright light in the sea of politicking that seems to be popular these days.

Everything has been guided by the science from the start. The medical and scientific experts are on TV every single afternoon explaining every decision they make.

It’s there for everyone to see.

Every decision is made by the cabinet.  Scientific advice is a smokescreen, of course they give them the benefit of scientific advice, but the buck stops with the cabinet.

And by saying "we are following the science" it gives them someone else to blame for bad decisions.

I agree WV all governments should be held accountable and it can be helpful for the opposition to raise issues that need attention etc.

But I genuinely think our government and the NHS has done us proud and have all put in decent performances. Some of Boris’ leadership has been brilliant and his speeches have really moved me and helped get the nation to all come together and make this lockdown work.

The main objectives at the start was to flatten the peak and help the NHS not to be overwhelmed.

That has been successful so far.

I take it then if you think we’ve done a poor job you also think other similar countries like Italy, France and Spain have also done poor as they have almost freakily identical stats to us.

What has been so impressive about the leadership?

You've been moved by his speeches? The speeches full of lies

As long as you don’t criticise the socialist/ communist party.

Dunna tell him we might cancel the season and he'll have to wait another 30 years!

It would be extremely unfortunate for Liverpool but this whole thing has put everything into perspective really. If the season does get cancelled then Liverpool will just have to dust themselves off and go again next season. Under Klopp they will be challengers again. I think everyone invovled at Liverpool should just be thankful that they have an opportunity to something once again - There's plenty of people in the UK and across the world that sadly don't have the opportunity now to do anything else.

Nice to hear from you again Tyler, hope you are keeping well.

That elusive PL title is still hanging by a thread?

Would have been too easy anyway. Maybe next season we can win it in much more dramatic style on the last day of the season. What a way to do it that would be! 😉

Stay safe pal.

Just after Christmas he spent three weeks in Mustique on a freebie.  In February when the country was suffering dreadful floods, he spent two weeks at Chevening.  Then through no fault of his own, he was hors de combat for over three weeks as a result of virus.  That's a lot of time when his leadership has been non existant.

You forgot to mention he missed 5 Cobra meetings as well. Maybe he was on holiday.

More deflection tactics from the loyal papers saying that Boris nearly died. If that is the case why wasn`t he put on a ventilator?

They also say he is a changed man, I bet his previous baby mothers have heard that before!
