More than 20 million people in the UK have now received their first dose of the vaccine, well done to all involved.

A good effort by the Government especially after the shambles of T and T.

Am I alone in being worried about the potential lockdown lifting. The drop off of the virus is slowing here, and it’s accelerating across Europe. We need to be aware, we do not need the lockdown introduced again down the line

Good for them they might only have a few years months left you can see em now rushing out of the care homes to get to bingo, jumping on their mobility scooters to get to the coast, this is a cruel story the problem is those that wont have the jab for what ever reason at least this group had over a 90% take up to protect the NHS

They can still go out and spread it and affect those who are not protected with a vaccine. Also we have to be careful with new variants and vaccine resistance to these.

A year is a year whether it's towards the end or start of their life. This has been hard for everyone and many people are still making sacrifices. What about the consequences on young people too? Is it ok for them to break the rules?

It's not only this government that cocks up....

Spain declared a high mortality rate for very small children from #Covid which alarmed the world. It now turns out a computer error split the age of people over 100. So, for example, if a man aged 103 died, it recorded two dead people — a man aged 100 and a small boy aged 3

Wow!

Its started already, "they did their best, nobody could do any better, how were we supposed to know"

By the time the election comes around they will have convinced the more gullible amongst us that 125'000+ deaths was the best result we could have hoped for. (Swear they said 20k at the time) This government need removing, forcefully if needed. Everything they do is a <ovf censored> up. I saw a big list on reddit yesterday and when you see it all listed you realise how corrupt and shameless they have been. Time for a change.
