Interesing that the head of the Track and Testing App (a Conservative, to avoid claims of bias) has confirmed that it won't be fully operational until the end of June: https://www.itv.com/news/2020-05-28/coronavirus-test-and-trace-scheme-launch-government-covid-19/

This is despite the PM asserting it would be 'world-beating' and would be in place from June 1st.

More ineptitude. Track and Trace is fundamental to getting schools re-opened safely and localising transmission. It was seen as a cornerstone of the easing of lockdown.

I did enjoy a chuckle at Boris' argument that Starmer need to be more conciliatory, seconds before Starmer brandished a letter, unanswered, that he sent to the PM offering his help.

Good to see Johnson get some proper opposition with a bit of backbone.

Johnson said he had spoke to him on the phone about the subject-schools.Starmer didn’t deny that.Someone with backbone in the Labour Party? They haven’t had one since John Smith.Starmer said he would put the contents of the letter in the public domain.2 months in the job and no ideas of what he would do about anything. This could be a first.

PMs spokesperson has confirmed this was an all opposition leaders call... not a one on one.

Can someone explain the point of quarantining at this stage of proceedings when our borders have been open to visitors since the virus became an issue?

Can someone please explain the decisions of this Government throughout the pandemic. I would expect the quarantine will be required for British citizens travelling in Europe, as the other countries seem to have got to grips with the virus.

I assume a temperature test would be made on anyone taking a flight, however a  flight has  recently landed in Athens with 12 of 91 passengers testing positive, all passengers now in quarantine.  Costs borne by the Greek government, Cyprus doing similar. Have we set aside a budget for a similar scheme?

What im sating is that Boris said he called Kier and talked to him about his letter.

That makes it sound like he called him back and they had a One on One about the issue.

But a spokesperson has confirmed it wasn't a one on one phone call, it was raised in a call with all opposition leaders.
