It's only any of those things if you harbour those thoughts yourself.  Otherwise its just a simple question.  There is nothing transphobe about the term lady boy or racist?  You simply arent very clever.

I may not be very clever but I'm streets ahead of you.

"It's only racist if you are racist yourself" - nofinikea 2020. I'll remind you of that logic next time you go chucking the race card round randomly.

Streets ahead.

You haven't misunderstood anything.  Sadly the level of intelligence on here seems to align with the "taking back control" mentality that nobody can actually explain.

Obviously 48% of the country should just f off if they dont like it because that's democracy for you.  At least it's the dull witted brexiteer version of it.

It's been explained a million times and is actually REALLY straight forward.

One thing that hasn't been successfully explained is why the losers of a democratic vote should actually be declared the winners?

In hindsight, it's not worth arguing with most of you.  Enjoy your moment in the sun Little Englanders!  Let's hope all the promises come to fruition and the Eton Buffoon makes Britain great again, whatever the <ovf censored> that means.

You are the little Englanders.

The Leavers have constantly been telling folk who disagreed with them to shut up and stay silent, hence his North Korea analogy.

First of all, I don't believe that this is true in the slightest.

Secondly, I don't think of North Korea as "telling folk who disagreed with them to shut up" so I don't understand your "hence"

It is funny that the likes of Jacko and Nofinikea use horrendous murderous dictatorships as an example of why they're the victims when they are the ones arguing against democracy.

If we're looking at FACTS (which I know you don't want to do as they don't suit you) and IF we are to use hyperbole then you are North Korea.

Hs2 isn't going to solve most of the current issues

Unfortunately not,  but there is no other way of increasing capacity between Euston and Rugby/Birmingham to meet the growing demand, other areas need action also. Not a case of A or B, but A and B.

How about starting with an upgrade on the Trans Pennine route?

How does that help Rugby? Has the planning been done for the work? Why cant both go on at the same time? Crossrail 1 has been running for years.

Exactly, why can't they both go on at the same time.  The Trans Pennine route has been neglected for ages.  West Coast and East Coast mainlines have been electrified for ages with 125 mph trains whilst the Trans Pennine still uses cattle trucks!!

Northern trains are a disgrace, probably 2nd hand cast-offs from the South, should not take all that long to replace the trains say 5 years if already planned. Whereas   increasing a 4 track system from Euston to Rugby with a 6 track system required to Rugby would be horrendous,  hence the new  HS2  track route.

So why haven't we done it already?  We have spent over a decade planning and beginning work for HS2 which will, of course, help the north/south route which is already developed way beyond the east/west.

The North of England's transport infrastructure had been neglected for decades.  The main road route through Northumberland to Scotland - the A1 - isn't even dual carriageway for a big chunk of it.

Governments have ignored anything which didn't directly help London.

isn't that the thinking behind H2 to connect with a modern rail link the northern power house and London and the south...but with consultations, compulsory purchases, removing swampy and his family, its taking time. One thing about the rising costs for it, when it went out to tender a price was accepted and the contract given, so why if the prices go up do the govt. have to pay for it? surely the contractor should pay he priced the tender...
